Swollen puppies and a Wii fit

What a day, first off I woke this morning to find out the Nasha our lakeland terrier had a swollen face, all the right side of his face was puffed out , so come 9 o`clock I called the vets and managed to get an appointment for about 40 minutes later. We pack the kids up in the car and set out to the vets. I took Nash in while everyone else stayed in the car. Luckily we were seen almost right away, so in we go. I explained that I thought he had an abscess as his teeth are not too good. The vet took a look in his mouth (brave man as Nash has breath that can peal paint at 20 yards) and agreed that he had an abscess. He stuck a thermometer up his butt and gave him an antibiotic injection and a pain killer injection and told us we would have to come back next week, so I went out to the reception and made another appointment and handed over my credit card. £45 was swiftly withdrawn from my account and I was sent packing. Looking at the receipt £23 of that was a consultation fee. £23 for a bloke to stick a thermometer up my dogs arse!
Moving on yesterday Con our 6 year old was at the hospital seeing an occupational therapist. He has a problem with his core strength. I was at work so was not there to see what went on but it seems the therapist agrees that he does have a problem and advised us that if he were to work on something like Wii fit it would help him no end with his clumsiness. So we dropped the dog back at home and headed off to the town to buy a Wii fit board. Once the kids had had their profiles made I went on to be told that I was over weight and needed to loose 7lb, so it looks like Im on a diet now. Oh Groovy..
To end with in my last post Mobility scooter I said that I logged into my forum 404 Error and found a very naughty looking error message. Well this morning while I was waiting for the vets to open I clicked on the link, no idea why and to my surprise the forum was still there. I have turned off the portal =, the wiki and the gallery for now and just left the forum. I know I have made forums in the past and deleted them not too long after but this one I like, It looks good and I love the name, you have no idea how surprised I was when the name was accepted. Anyway, that’s it for now, I have explained how both my dog and my bank balance have been violated today and unashamedly whored my new forum.
